Order prescriptions

If you are on regular treatment, a request for a repeat prescription can be made by either:

  • bringing your repeat prescription backing slip to the surgery and ticking which items are required, or
  • sending this by post to either surgery, or
  • ordering via the NHS Wales App or online via this website (see below for details), or
  • making arrangements with a local chemist to make the request on your behalf.

Please note that we aim to process repeat prescription requests within 48 hours.

If sending the request by post, please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope for its return. You will need to allow 7 days for its arrival and return.

Prescription Delivery

Some chemists will deliver prescriptions free of charge to housebound patients on request. Please note that prescription delivery is at the discretion of the pharmacist and that delivery times cannot be guaranteed. This is a private arrangement between yourself and the pharmacist. Whilst we will assist wherever possible, North Cornelly or Kenfig Hill Surgery will not be held responsible for any issues relating to the delivery of prescriptions.
